Volumina is working with La Venaria Reale and CSI - Consorzio Sistema Informativo on the production of his first official video. It tells the story of the Royal Palace in four thematic chapters set in symbolic places: the hunt is introduced by a violinist who plays in the Church of St. Hubert, the grandeur of the Grand Gallery is evoked by a grandfather to his grandson, the finest paintings of the Sala di Diana are examined by a fussy art critic, the grand design of the gardens are drawn from a grumpy gardener.
Shooting will take place between December 2009 and May 2010, inside the Palace and in RAI studios; editing and graphics at CSI.
The video - which will be released on DVD - is a mix of documentary and fiction, evocations of the past and splendor contemporary, with new scenes shot with actors and archival footage. Directed by Gabriele Cipollitti, director of the most spectacular Super Quark tv reportages, it is a co-production Venaria Reale, CSI and RAI - Production Center in Turin. Volumina deals with the production executive and archival footage.
