Born in Turin in 1965, Domenico De Gaetano took his degree at the University of Turin with Prof. Gianni Rondolino writing a graduation thesis on the Relationship between Music and Images in Peter Greenaway's Films. For over 10 years he organized film and video seasons for the National Cinema Museum of Turin, coordinated the activities of the project Media Library of Italian Independent Cinema for the City Council and edited contemporary and film music CDs for Universal, Decca and Felmay. He has written numerous books, including Le immagini di Studio Azzurro (1995), Il cinema di Peter Greenaway (1995-2008), Cinema e Rock (1999), Il cinema di Guido Chiesa (2000), Dietro la cinepresa (2008) and Torino. Ciak si gira (2008); he also works as an event organizer and art designer.
The Artistic Director of Volumina, he coordinated the projects by Greenaway, Cronenberg, Egoyan and Nyman, working on every aspect from the production to the graphics.
